Caring for Your Skin in Winter
What can you do to keep your skin healthy and beautiful during the winter season? Winter is a quite dangerous season for the skin. Because of cold, your skin has a risk to become irritated, dry, sensitive, and chapped. That is why it is very important to know how to take care for your skin during the winter months. These are some advices how to do this properly:
- Moisturize your skin. When you are taking a bath, don’t use too hot water. It is even better to wash your face with cold water, especially in the morning. Don’t use water-based moisturizers. Because of high quality of water they can cause freezing on your face. Constantly, use only oil-based moisturizers.
- Use aroma free soaps and washes in order to avoid colored or antibacterial facing skin process. All ingredients that cause scents are the sources for skin to become dry.
- Apply your moisturizing cream right after you have a wash or while your skin is still moist. Use moisturizing cream that includes vitamins and lecithin. Use also daily nutritional ream that includes vitamins and fruity acid.
- Drink a lot of water!
- Don’t forget to protect your skin from sun. Many people think that they should do it only on the summer, but they make a mistake. The snow reflects the sun, so you must wear a sunscreen. Therefore, use moisturizer at least with SPF 15. your makeup must be with sun protection too.
- Take care for your lips, which is one of the most sensitive parts of your body during wintertime. Therefore, always wear lipstick or lip balms that include propolis protect from sun.
- If your skin is oily, use a sponge or a product containing salicylic acid, but don’t exfoliate your skin too often.
- Avoid the hair dryer, especially if your skin is very dry.
